Omri Aflalo, Executive Chef, BOURBON STEAK San Francisco

Omri Aflalo´s passion for the culinary arts lies in its hands-on artistry. His culinary journey started at a young age with his family – – from outings at restaurants like Ma Maison, French Laundry and Aqua, to dining with traditional Moroccan foods and a family motto of “eat, eat, eat!” Originally intending to pursue a career in the film industry Aflalo quickly realized, through a part–time job, that cooking and culinary school was where he wanted and needed to be. With support from the chef he worked for at the time, Aflalo moved from San Francisco to New York to attend the Culinary Institute of America, graduating in 2002.

After graduation Aflalo continued his formal education while traveling through Europe. Training at various Michelin–starred restaurants he furthered his knowledge in techniques and styles. Aflalo considers his time overseas invaluable. Back in the States, Aflalo´s career has included positions with Aqua under Michael Mina, Restaurant Gary Danko, and extensively with Michel Richard at Citronelle and Central Restaurant before joining BOURBON STEAK Restaurant in San Francisco.

Lucas Riemens, General Manager, BOURBON STEAK San Francisco

Lucas Riemens has a strong culinary background from the United States and overseas, and has worked with famous celebrity chefs such as Gordon Ramsey and Michael Mina. Lucas comes to BOURBON STEAK San Francisco from the Mina Group and his most recent position was Assistant General Manager at MICHAEL MINA, San Francisco. Prior to that, Lucas was the Manager at Morimoto Restaurant in Napa Valley and has worked at several Michelin Star restaurants in Las Vegas, NV. His expertise and leadership are unmatched in the culinary world.

Noah Dranow, Sommelier, BOURBON STEAK San Francisco

Noah Dranow comes to BOURBON STEAK San Francisco with an esteemed background in wines and restaurants. His passion for wine and the hospitality industry is clearly evident with his quick rise through some of the best restaurants in the country.

Dranow spent most of his wine and restaurant career at MICHAEL MINA and Farallon in San Francisco. Starting as sommelier, he dedicated himself to learning and working hard, earning the title of manager. During this time Dranow also completed Court of Master Sommeliers Introductory Course and Examination.

Before moving to San Francisco Dranow worked in Cambridge, Massachusetts at Rialto, a Four-Star Mediterranean restaurant and in Boston at Fine Arts Restaurant as a server, studying and understanding the art of a memorable dining experience. Dranow brings a true thirst for knowledge and dedication to BOURBON STEAK San Francisco.
