Meet the award-winning team at BOURBON STEAK restaurant, conveniently located inside The Westin St. Francis San Francisco on Union Square.

Marc Peyer, General Manager, BOURBON STEAK San Francisco

Marc Peyer, was born and raised in Austria where he went to hotel management school. After stops in Malaysia, Namibia Europe and a cruise ship, he came to the States in 2009 and worked in Las Vegas for 2.5 years (MGM Grand, Cosmopolitan, Rio Hotel). He moved to Michigan to run 2 Michael Mina restaurants at MGM Grand Detroit. Marc Came to San Francisco in October 2012 as AGM of Bourbon steak and became GM in October 2013.

Omri Aflalo, Executive Chef, BOURBON STEAK San Francisco

Omri Aflalo’s passion for the culinary arts lies in its hands - on artistry. His culinary journey started at a young age with family outings to restaurants like Ma Maison, French Laundry and Aqua, dining on traditional Moroccan foods and a family motto of “eat, eat, eat!” Aflalo quickly realized through a part–time job that cooking and culinary school was where he wanted to be.

With support from the chef he was working for, Aflalo moved from San Francisco to New York to attend the Culinary Institute of America, graduating in 2002. After graduation Aflalo continued his formal education, training at some of the best Michelin–starred restaurants throughout Europe. Back in the States, Aflalo’s career included positions with Aqua under Michael Mina, Restaurant Gary Danko, and Michel Richard at Citronelle and Central Restaurant before joining BOURBON STEAK San Francisco.

Noah Dranow, Sommelier, BOURBON STEAK San Francisco

Noah Dranow began his restaurant career in Boston, Massachusetts at Fine Arts Restaurant and in Cambridge at Rialto, a Four-Star Mediterranean restaurant. He worked as a server, studying and understanding the art of a memorable dining experience.

Dranow moved to San Francisco and spent time working at MICHAEL MINA and Farallon. Starting as a sommelier, he dedicated himself to learning and working hard, earning the title of manager. During this time Dranow also completed the Court of Master Sommeliers Introductory Course and Examination. Dranow brings a true thirst for knowledge and dedication to BOURBON STEAK San Francisco.
